Natalie Meins is a multi-media illustrator who lives and works in Los Angeles, California while pursuing a BFA at Loyola Marymount University. Originally from San Diego, CA, her lively color choices and playful subject matter are greatly influenced by her childhood, and draw from experiences of her hometown. The picture books she read as a child, such as Runaway Bunny and Goodnight Moon, have greatly impacted Natalie’s interest in image-making. Narrative, both implicit and explicit, drive much of her work. With her distinctive personal style, Natalie hopes to communicate the same interest and inspiration that she has experienced to people of all ages, and bring stories to life with her energetic illustrations. Ultimately, her goal is to share the beauty that she sees in the world around her, bringing all people the same joy that she experiences from it.
